TAB Layout feature.
This cabin is a "big" rotating table where the blastwheel stays on top and its jet properly covers the parts laying on the table; rotation ensures the entire surface (except the base) is exposed to the direct abrasive flow when processing multiple parts or the hitting point considering one part only, indeed all the part(s) are constantly under the effect of rebounding media in all exposed sides except the one facing the table itself.

TAB Blasters features:
Workable Dimension (mm) | Max Load (kgs) | Size Equipment | Max Load (LBS) | Workable Dimension (inches) |
Ø 500 x H 450 | 500 | 5 | 1100 | Ø 20 x H 18 |
Ø 1000 x H 450 | 1000 | 10 | 2200 | Ø 40 x H 18 |
Ø 1400 x H 450 | 1400 | 14 | 3100 | Ø 55 x H 18 |
Ø 1800 x H 450 | 1800 | 18 | 4000 | Ø 71 x H 18 |
Main Key Technical Notes:
Workable Dimensions: These values represent the real workable envelope, see blast pattern below⬇️:

To ensure a perfect coverage a proper analysis is a must and avoid any "blind"spot if your parts use 80% and above of the space available.
Standard Height: All sizes feature a standard 450 mm (18 inches) working height. Custom heights can be evaluated during a requirements analysis, sample is in the bottom of the page.
Blastwheel: Installed is a 5.5Kw unit direct drive, can be increased up to 11Kw; related media flow rate is from 90kgs/minute to 140kgs/minute.
Media: steel shots, stainless steel shots and derivates below 50 HRC, Aluminum shots, Grit as cast iron or steel, if hardness is above 50HRC carbide kit is beneficial; Zirblast Ceramic media with its own kit.
Filter: built in unit according to the cabin size ATEX/NEC standards.
Automation Control: Siemens standard for CPU, HMI and drives, Allen Bradley version available; automatic media gate control, to use preprogrammed blasting/peening setups by "one button" recall from operator.
Layout & Footprint: Detailed 2D/3D drawings and DWG footprints are available upon request.
Pros: Compact and versatile unit in any size, simple to set and "maintenance inspection friendly" because all the wear parts are visible from the accessible blasting room. Parts in contact with the media built with high resistance manganese steel to ensure long lasting, cast iron lliners used to protect the cabin itself covered by direct media flow. Fully automatic process except loading/unloading, which can be automated upon request.
Cons: It does NOT blast the side of the part facing the table, requires flipping, complicated shapes may require more blastwheels to ensure perfect coverage.
Booster: upgrades specs available here, planetaries work extremely well in this layout; load/unload/inspection automation possible to reduce the human labour required.
Popularly used in: Glass Industry - Molds cleaning; Aluminum Extrusion Industry - Dies Maintenance; Tires Manufacturing Industry - Molds cleaning; Post Heat treatment process - Descaling; Casting Industry - Deburring;
