Silvio,
Mechanical Engineer.
When I was young, I was a car enthusiast. As I’ve grown older, I’ve realized I care less about the car itself and more about the drive. The faster, the better—and on track, the chrono never lies.
When I started at CM 13 years ago, I was fascinated by the sheer technology of the machines. Over time, my focus shifted: I became obsessed performance, measuring success through of KPIs on every project.
Perfection may be unattainable, but there is nothing more rewarding than seeing a process work exactly as planned. I would much rather engineer a layout than sell a machine; I see equipment simply as a tool. I focus on consistency, throughput, and asset protection. With LEAN Manufacturing lenses.
For me, on site technical analysis is mandatory to understand the unique KPIs of a project. Engineering the layout comes next, while training and commissioning close the loop. Years of hands-on experience allow me to troubleshoot — on-site or remotely— providing the technical insights needed to keep your operations running at peak performance.

What can I do for you:

LEAN approach: less scrap, less waste, more simplicity, TCO and Opex before Capex.
Process & Machine Diagnosis: I travel to your plant to evaluate qualitatively where the process stands, as from the equipment point, the operational point and the interactions between workforce and equipment; I evaluate quantitatively the same, after understanding the qualities and standards you need, we get numbers and so we can together implement KPIs which are effective to keep this process under control.
Advanced Troubleshooting: You, or your team, are used to see one or few equipment, while I saw hundreds, so I developed a specific sensitivity that is not related to check the item only and by itself, it is understanding where it is going. No witchcraft, just experience. I travel to your plant — if issues are there, I will find them — and then we make a plan to recover, avoid or, if not possible, minimize the impact in the future.
New Process Development: People usually know what they want to get — "how" is the main problem. It must work fully on paper before being real. From the layout to the finished line, I can guide, support and help to get out of this jungle faster and cheaper.
Shot Peening: Evaluating your process, your practices and how to improve them. Also, if you are thinking about it, we can evaluate if it makes sense or not for your operations. It is engineering, not alchemy.
Refurbishing, Installation, SAT & FAT: I can supervise or execute. I can also help you to write down the procedure for both of them, making sure your targets have been achieved.
Training: How the machine works seen from different perspectives: the process, the operator, the maintenance. On-site, on your equipment, with your actual parts.
Integration Assessment: If you are thinking about upgrades or evolution, we can discuss in advance which will work applied to your field and which not.
What distinguishes humans from beasts is the ability to conversate. Let's speak and find out what engineers do best: making solutions real. And working.
