This page explains how to request deletion of your Vortexaccount, what is deleted, and what is retained.

HOW TO DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT
From inside the app:
Open Vortex and sign in
Go to Settings
Select "Delete account"
Confirm the request
By email:
Send a deletion request from the email address associatedwith your Vortex account to vortexpert.chat@gmail.com,with the subject "Account deletion request".
We will process the request and confirm by email within30 days.

WHAT IS DELETED
When your account is deleted, we remove:
Your login credentials and authentication record
Your name, email address and contact details
Your organization profile association
Your app preferences and settings
Your ability to access the application
After deletion you will no longer be able to sign in, andany active subscription must be cancelled separatelythrough the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store.

WHAT IS RETAINED, AND WHY
Some content is not deleted with your account. This isstated here so that you know it before you use Vortex.
MAINTENANCE RECORDS AND INTERVENTION REPORTS
Reports of maintenance interventions, troubleshootingsessions and technical exchanges carried out throughVortex remain available to the organization under whosesubscription they were produced, together with the nameof the user who produced them.
These records are the property of that organization, notof the individual user. They form the maintenance historyof industrial equipment and may be required for:
Continuity of equipment maintenance by other technicians
Traceability of who performed which intervention, and when
Verification of compliance with safety procedures
Establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims,
including in the event of equipment failure, injury or
liability disputes
The retention of this data is based on the legitimateinterest of the subscribing organization in maintaining acomplete and attributable equipment history, and on Article17(3)(e) of the GDPR, under which the right to erasure doesnot apply where processing is necessary for theestablishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
An intervention record that does not identify its authorwould not serve this purpose.
TECHNICAL MANUALS AND UPLOADED DOCUMENTATION
Machine manuals and technical documentation uploaded toVortex remain the property of the subscribing organizationand are retained under that organization's account. Theyare not deleted when an individual user account is removed.
TRANSACTION AND TAX RECORDS
Payment and transaction metadata is retained for the periodrequired by Italian tax law. We do not hold your paymentcard details, which are processed by Google and Apple.

ORGANIZATION ACCOUNTS
If you use Vortex under an organization or enterprisesubscription, deletion of your individual user account doesnot delete the organization's account or its data.
To request deletion of an entire organization account andall associated data, the request must come from anauthorized representative of that organization. Write tovortexpert.chat@gmail.com.

RETENTION PERIODS
Account and identity data: deleted within 30 days of a
verified request
Backup copies: purged within 90 days
Maintenance records and uploaded documentation: retained
by the subscribing organization for as long as that
organization maintains its account
Transaction records: retained as required by applicable
tax law
